By using Plates you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Plates.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and ratings you post. You grant Plates a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host and display your content within the app for the purpose of running the service. Only post photos you took of food you actually had, and only content you have the right to share.

Acceptable use

Post real photos of real dishes — no fake, stock, or misleading content.
No harassment, hate, spam, or illegal content.
Don’t misrepresent your relationship to a restaurant or claim a page you don’t own.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Restaurant pages

Restaurant information is drawn from public sources (OpenStreetMap) and from users. Verified owners may claim and manage their page. Ratings reflect the opinions of individual users.

Disclaimers & liability

Plates is provided “as is,” without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
